We are a volunteer organization formed for the purpose of assisting in and enhancing the athletic programs sponsored by Incarnate Word Academy. The Booster Club strives to indirectly enhance the educational environment of all IWA students by supporting
and supplementing the school's athletic department budget when and where necessary.
We proudly and enthusiastically support our athletes competing in: Swim, Dance, Cross Country, Soccer, Tennis, Cheer, Track and Field, Lacrosse, Softball, Basketball, Golf, and Volleyball.
Promote and publicize IWA Athletics and Activities.
Create fun social events such as the Golf Tournament and Trivia Night to raise funds for IWA Athletics.
Encourage good sportsmanship and team unity.
Develop and enhance a sense of pride and tradition.
Provide the necessary resources to supply the program with the highest quality training and equipment.
Fund the travel expenses to send our teams to compete for state titles.
Hosted our annual Trivia Night.
Sent our basketball, golf, and swim teams to state.
Replaced the netting, turf and a batter's box pad for the softball batting cage.
Power-washed and painted the red and yellow posts around the athletic field.
Purchased gym floor sweat mops.
Provided our swimmers with heart rate training monitors.
Repaired the softball dugout.
We are always recruiting for the next generation of parents to become Booster Reps. We have a lot to accomplish. As a Booster Rep you will:
Serve as a liaison with your sport's parents, your coach, and the Booster Club.
Attend and participate in monthly Booster Club meetings.
Bring wishlist requests to the Booster Club for support and/or funding.
Coordinate parent and athlete volunteers for your sport's volunteer responsibilities.
Play an active role in planning and running the annual Golf Tournament and Trivia Night.
Work with your sport's parents to create a basket for the Trivia Night silent auction.
