At Incarnate Word Academy, we take the issue of child safety very seriously. We pay careful attention to the use of images of students in school publications, on the school website, and as part of the school’s social media outlets including Facebook, Tumblr, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube. The use of student images in the aforementioned outlets is an opportunity to promote the work of the school, to celebrate student accomplishment, and to motivate all stakeholders in the IWA community.

We ask that parents/guardians consent to the school taking and using photographs/digital images (both still and motion) of their children. Any use of this information by Incarnate Word Academy is underpinned by our concern for the safety of the students involved. We only intend to share such information with IWA’s relevant stakeholders. Therefore, student images will never be ‘tagged’ (i.e. – linked to a personal profile) in the school’s social media outlets.

I consent to the use of photographs/digital images (both still and motion) of the child named in this registration to appear in Incarnate Word Academy printed publications, school website, and/or the school’s social media outlets including Facebook, Tumblr, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube. I understand that my daughter’s image will never be ‘tagged’ or otherwise linked to personal information when used in official Incarnate Word Academy social media outlets. I also acknowledge and agree that neither I nor my daughter has or shall have any ownership interest in any informational or advertising material which utilizes, incorporates, or consists of the photographic images, video images and/or audio recordings or in any copyright embodied therein.
